YOU NEED OTHERS!

Life is a journy that no one takes alone, though when you die, you would not take anyone along with you. No one of us can actually make it in this life without the help of another person. So many people out there use to claim that they made it alone... how funny it always sound in my ears anytime I hear some thing like that. God that created the heavens and the earth could not even do anything when He want to take away the sins of the world without the help of a human. God decided to get to the world through a human because He knows how importance it was for man to help man.
What am actually saying, is in all you do make sure to show some one some love because by so doing someone else will also show you some love (because life is GIGO). Many people out there who do not help others or who do not want to help people always claim that they never recieved help from anyone. These people forgot that for them to have gotten what they have is because someone thought it wise to do business with them or because someone decided to employ him/her.
If God wanted human being to just come and strugle on their own He would not have made another human as a help meet to man. Never you close your eyes when you see some one whom you can help. never you also reject help when someone wants to help you. I have seen someone that does not want to have anything to do with others-I mean he don't collect anything from anybody because he does not want to share with anyone.
Listen, no one can actually maximise his/her life without sharing it with others. The joy of being alive in sharing life with others. When we allow people to come into our live and contribute their quota; life becomes sweet. Even those who eventually hurt us are also important to our personal growth and success. "Variety is the spice of life" they say, it is an absolute truth. Therefore we need both the good, the bad and the ugly people in our life for us to grow and get better.
I have learnt how to learn and benefit from any kind of relationship. I don't push people away nowadays, I walk away or I stay away from the person because tomorrow that same person might become important to me. Wise people are friendly with the, Vigilantes, Soldiers, Police, Area Boys, Religious leaders, Politicians and even urchins plus the mad person they meet on their way out. All these people I mentioned have a role to play in our lives.
Finally-My friend don't live like an oister. Make friend with the rich and the poor, the haves and the have nots, all have a purpose to serve in your life. We need each other to make it good in life. Every experience is worth having. E N J O Y
Thanks and God bless you.

HOW TO BUILD A POSITIVE ATTITUDE (concluding part)

1.      BUILD A POSITIVE SELF-ESTEEM. Self-esteem is the way we feel about ourselves. If we become more positive about how we feel about ourselves our performance will improve.
When one feels good and positive about himself/herself, the person’s attitude towards others will naturally change. Because there is a direct correlation between feeling and doing.
2.      AVOID NEGATIVE INFLUENCE. Negative influence can be a thing or a person. Those of your friends who do not learn from you and does not also help you to grow intellectually or spiritually avoid them. Those things you get involved in that stops you from being the best should be avoided forever. Including habits, games etc.
3.      TURN YOUR DUTIES INTO FUN. Everywhere you find yourself creates some fun around you. People will be more interested in associating with you if they find out that you are not a grumbling type. Because people don’t grumble while having fun.
When you move about with negative people they will kill your attitude and also kill your vision.
4.      EVERY MORNING START WITH SOMETHING POSITIVE. When you wake up in the morning talk to yourself. Tell yourself that you are the best. Read books or listen to music that will help you become a better you.
If you have motivational books or music, even if there are motivational quotes or text messages on your phone, listen and read them.
Do it first thing I the morning and last thing at night, it will help you a lot. It will improve your attitude toward others and yourself.
CONCLUSION: If you want to build a positive attitude you must start now. Not tomorrow. You don’t even have to consult your friends or family members to start this journey.  Attitude change is marathon race not a hundred meter huddle or race.
Prepare your mind to be the best in all you do. And for you to achieve that always do what you have leant today.
If you start and have a little set back keep trying you will get better with every practice. Change is not one of the easiest thing but it one of the best thing.
THANKS VERY MUCH FOR LISTENING. SEE YOU AT THE PLACE OF POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

HOW TO BUILD A POSITIVE ATTITUDE (2)

As a life coach I have seen that those who have poor and negative attitude always blame everybody and everything for their failure in life. As a human being it is your responsibility to take care of your front line. No matter your family background or educational qualification. You are the one to change and build a more positive attitude.
If you want to build and maintain a positive attitude, you have to consciously follow and practice these eight steps.
1.      Change the way you see things; look out for the positives. 2. Don’t procrastinate. 3. Always show gratitude. 4. Keep learning. 5. Build a positive self-esteem. 6. Avoid negative influence. 7. Turn your duties into fun. 8. Every morning start with something positive.
1.      CHANGE THE WAY YOU SEE THINGS; LOOK OUT FOR THE POSITIVES. In dealing with different individuals you must understand that we are all unique and different. Do not try to compare two different persons.
Human beings are like gold or crude oil. Before you can get a pure gold or petrol from crude oil you have first of all refine it.
If you are looking for gold you must meet so much dirt on your way but because you know that what you are looking for is not dirt. You keep being positive until you get your gold.
2.      DON’T PROCRASTINATE. Procrastination is said to be a thief of time. Always do those things that you are supposed to do when you are supposed to them. Don’t joke with your class work or your house wok.
Do not for any reason waste your life in the name of I will do it someday. Shiv Khera says, “When people say I will do it one of these days, you can be sure it means none of these days.”
Mark these; life is not a dress rehearsal, we have got only one shot at life. So the stakes are too high never play away your life.
Benjamin Franklin said, “never keep what you should do today for tomorrow.”
Great people are those who try not procrastinate even when the temptations are high.
3.      ALWAYS SHOW GRATITUDE. We all like to be told thank you. In your everyday dealing with people make sure you the principle of saying thank you, I am grateful. Always find a way of showing those that are leading you that you are grateful for all they have done for you; even when you don’t want to.
Count your blessings not your troubles. Think about your parents, teachers at school and those you meet everyday who have in one way or the other touched your life positively. Tell them thank you.
Your friends, parents and teachers will love you more if you show a little sign of gratitude.
4.      KEEP LEARNING. Leaning is a journey not a destination. Nobody under this sun can say that he/she has come to final bus stop of learning.
If one stops learning he will grow lean. The person will stop being productive or profitable both to himself/herself and to others around him/her.
It is said that, “our minds are like a parachute the more you stretch it the more it gets open.”
You must know that learning has not taken place unless one behavior has changed.

HOW TO BUILD A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

INTRODUCTION: Our behavior is generally formed when we are still growing up. At these our age now we can decide how to behave or live. Because, it is easier to acquire right or wrong attitude at our formative years.
Some people are very much fortunate to have formed a positive attitude when they were kids while some are not that fortunate. However, if you have formed a negative attitude, whether by design or by default and somehow you are hooked to it. Don’t be afraid or disappointed because you can choose to change it now and take up a more positive attitude today. There is nobody who cannot change hence that person has made up his/her mind to improve and become more positive.
HOW DO YOU BUILD AND MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE?
1.      Become aware of the principles that builds positive attitude. You must know that in this life there are principles for everything. Nothing in this world just happen like that. It is when the right principle for a process is applied the right answer will be gotten.
2.      Desire to be positive. Desire fuels success. It when we desire that we can acquire. You can’t receive what you are not desiring especially positive things. Just the way you get hungry get hungry to have positive attitude. Anywhere you see what will give you the right attitudes go after it without minding those who would laugh at you.
3.      Cultivate the discipline and dedication to practice those principles. This is where many of us fail. Everybody wants to be successful but very few want to be disciplined enough to get to their place of success. Little wander we have very few successful people on this earth.
In your classes how many persons make As, Bs? But majority make Cs, Ds and even Fs.
Do you know how many people that sits for JAMB and WAEC every year? Thousands; tell me how many of them make their papers.
Discipline and dedication will give you an edge over others in everything you do in life. In your family and in your class or whatever field you find yourself.
As a life coach I have seen that those who have poor and negative attitude always blame everybody and everything for their failure in life. As a human being it is your responsibility to take care of your front line. No matter your family background or educational qualification. You are the one to change and build a more positive attitude.

ATTITUDE IS A THING OF CHOICE: ATTITUDE AND YOU (2)

If attitude is a choice it means that we decide how to relate to others and how to handle situations that arises in our schools and homes.
What you are known at school and home for is totally the choice you have made by yourself.
When someone fights anywhere and at any place it means that he/she decided to do so by choice. There is nothing in this life that dictates how we should behave or react to things that happen around us.
If you feel bad about something that happens it is exactly how you chose to feel; there is nothing that says that you can’t chose to feel different. You should know that almost everything that we do in life is by choice, including being happy.
If how we behave or act is by choice, then I think the best thing for us to do is to choose positive attitude rather than negative.
Even in our class work and exams how we perform is totally dependent on our attitude towards a particular subject or teacher. It has been proved that students who have positive attitude toward their teacher and a particular subject always understand that subject better and also perform better.
There is no student who can be a good student without good attitude. That is to say good attitude makes a good student.
It is a well known fact that success in life comes from our attitude to life and the things we do (education or vocation).
CONCLUSION:           Someone says, “Attitude is the best word in English language. It applies in every spheres of life, including personal and professional.” You must understand that the foundation of your success not minding whatever field you have choosing in life is your attitude.
Let this be boldly written in your heart, “your attitude determines your altitude and also creates your altitude.” (ALTITUDE IS:       A. the height of something above a specific level.)
Nobody, not any one of us can get higher than his or her way of behaving. You should know that your behavior either compels people or expels people. Choose the right attitude so that right people will come and success will be your friend.
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS, SEE YOU AS WE BUILD A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

ATTITUDE and YOU

1.       WHAT IS ATTITUDE?
(a)    Attitude is a way of thinking or behaving.
(b)    Attitude is an opinion or general feeling about something.
(c)    Attitude is the established way of responding to people and situation that is learnt based on the beliefs, values and assumption.

2.       FACTORS THAT DETERMINE OUR ATTITUDE:
There are three factors that determine our attitude.
(a)    Our Environment. (b) Our experience and (c) The education we have received or receiving.
A,         OUR ENVIRONMENT consists of (1) HOME: positive or negative influences. (2) SCHOOL: negative and positive peer pressure. (3) WORK PLACE: supportive or critical co-workers, supervisor or CEO. (4) MEDIA: TV, newspapers, magazines, radio and movies. (5) CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS AND TRADITIONAL BELIEF SYSTEM: it is these three things that form bases for our belief, value and assumption. (6) SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT.
It is very much important for us to step back and at what kind of environment we go to. We should also look at what kind of environment that we have created for ourselves and those people around us.
It will be a tough battle for one to expect positive behavior in a negative environment. That is the reason why you see that in societies where lawlessness becomes the law the citizens find it difficult to do the right thing. However, we all have the ability to change our environment or create a better environment for ourselves and others.
You can bear me witness that in positive environment someone who ordinarily does not perform very well starts to perform better and also in a negative environment someone who does things very well could start underperforming.
  (B)     OUR EXPERIENCE: Our experience comes from events and what had happened to us in the time past.
How we relate to people around us is dependent on the experience we have gotten overtime. There are people today we would not for any reason have anything in common because of how they treated us in the time past.
Our experience based on events and happenings becomes our bases for reference. Our conclusions about things, people and life are also drawn from experience.
(C)       OUR EDUCATION: At this juncture I will like you to know that what we are talking about here is source of learning. Where, what and who we are learning from.  These things are very much important to us because they build our attitude. If you follow wrong learning you will have wrong attitude and if you have right education your attitude will also be right and positive.
Learning will lead to knowledge and when you apply knowledge very well it will translate to wisdom.
Let me tell you this; the role of teachers is very vital; because teachers affect eternity. It is teachers through education (school teacher, church teacher or any other form) that teaches us how to make a living and also how to live our life.
