By now, all of us should have known that life does not lay on our table what we need. life lays on our table what we are desirious of and what we are ready to go after. that is to say, because there are so many things you are in neeed of does not mean you will have them. it is only those things that you can prove by action (by going after them) that you can have.
Again the few years I have spent here on earth have taught me that desire alone are not enough to give us or place us at the right place where we want (ought) to be.
One vital thing many people are lacking in this life is WISDOM. Many woke up every morning with clearity of what they want and how to go about it; but they lacked the very wisdom that will open the door, for them to go in. In many families, companies, organisations and even in school setting, people work so very hard to achieve little or no result. Some people keep thinking that the reason why they are underscoribg per-excellence is because they don't know what they want. It may be or it may not be. However, before you go blaming yourself and seeking for sympathy-I think what you need at this point in time is WISDOM.
"Desire fuels action but wisdom will give the guide needed for the action to be successfull." I read a book written by one of the most inspiring writers and great motivator ever lived: he wrote, "for wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to them that have it." (Eccl.7:12)
failure is life is tied down to people's inability to discover that wisdom gives life to those who have it. WISDOM is what will give life to your dream, vision,gaol or any form of project. So many businesses have started and folded up not becuase there were not enough money to run the business, they folded up because the operators lacked the WISDOM needed to run such business. There are so many people that walk the very street you walk, who had in time past controlled hundreds of thousands or even millions but today they are not living better than the beggers that you see all over the place.
I am not saying that there are no place for missfutune and evill men and women who go about scartering people's bussines ventures. These things are in existence and they have power over those who allowed them to have power over them. A wise person should know that one should not walk around unprotected. Everybody needs a stronger power to guide or control him/her. If you are moving about without getting yourself hooked up to a stronger influence (external), whatever that happens to you is your foolishness. The only influence that I know for sure that has been tested and is has never failed is God's power through His only Son Jesus Christ. I want you to know that I am not trying to persuade you to become a christian, no,not at all. I am only writing based on the WISDOM that I applied and it is working for me, without any form of after effect. There is no death threat, no madness threat and no form os blood sacrifice or covernat requied. However, if becoming a christian is the WISDOM that you need to perform at your peak; what stops you from accepting Jesus Christ and His everlasting power today?
Another thing that makes people to fail is that what people call wisdom is not wisdom; by implication they are foolishness. Many of us consider cheating, outwitting, lying and deceit as wisdom. In this society of ours we call men and people without integrity men of wisdom. I think it is time that we redress this norm that is eating us like canker worms. In Nigeria today because many of us more especially the young ones thing that for you to be amongst the top shots in the society you have to become a manipulator or a cheat; not so my dear you can still make it in life without practicing evil. Whenever I see manipulators parade themselves or being paraded as wise men/women it pains my heart, anyway…
